What should my child bring to swim classes?

I recommend that your child brings a swimsuit, towel, sunscreen to our Swim School classes. It's important for them to be comfortable in the water, and these items will help ensure a positive experience during their lesson. Additionally, make sure to pack any necessary swim gear such as swim caps or swim diapers, depending on your child's age and needs. I want all our students to have a fun and successful time learning to swim, so having these essentials will contribute to a great experience at our lessons.

What if my child is sick? Can they still attend swim lessons?

At Little Swimmers of Atlanta, the health and safety of all  swimmers is our top priority. If your child is feeling unwell, especially if they have symptoms such as a fever, cough, or upset stomach, I kindly ask that you keep them at home to rest and recover. It is important to consider the well-being of other children, and the instructor by minimizing the risk of spreading illness. I understand that missed lessons can be disappointing, but we are committed to ensuring a healthy and enjoyable experience for all our swimmers. If your child needs to miss a lesson due to illness, please inform me as soon as you can, and I will do our best to accommodate a make-up lesson. What happens in the case of inclement weather?

In the event of inclement weather, such as thunderstorms or heavy rain, I may need to cancel lessons for the safety of students and families. If a class is canceled due to inclement weather, I will make every effort to notify you as soon as possible via email, phone, or through our website and social media channels. I will also work with you to reschedule the missed class to ensure your child's progress is not hindered. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in keeping our swimmers safe.
